Q
The AccuLoad unit is not counting, but there is product flow.

A
The problem could be the meter not turning, the transmitter, or a broken wire between the transmitter, the AccuLoad and the computer board.

To check the meter, remove the cover from the transmitter and see if the coupling is turning. If it is, the problem is not the meter. If it is not turning, remove the transmitter and check the coupling on the dummy calibrator or the gears. If they are turning, the problem is a mechanical problem in the transmitter. If they are not turning, repair the meter.

Caution: Before removing or replacing any wires, disconnect the power from the AccuLoad.

If the meter is turning, then the problem is electrical. If neither position is counting, measure the 12 Vdc on the I/O board. If the 12 Vdc is missing, then replace F2 (the 12 Vdc fuse) on the power supply.

Install a spring loaded switch between the AccuLoad 12 Vdc and pulse input. In the diagnostics mode, select the pulse input diagnostic. Click the switch. If pulses appear after the M, then the computer board and AccuLoad are operating. If there are no pulses after the M, then replace the computer board.

If the computer board is good, disconnect the 12 Vdc wire and the signal wire at the transmitter. Connect the 12 Vdc and signal wire to the switch and run the same diagnostic test. If the counts appear after the letter M, replace the board in the transmitter. If they do not appear, then the problem is in the wiring - replace or repair.
